Tennessee River Gorge® Island Cabins® offers Serenity and Relaxation in 3 river front "Amish Built" Cabins on 5 acres of TRG® Island. With 16' x 36' Swimming Pool!
And 6 "Amish Built" Treehouse Cabins on 12 acres of TRG® Mountain. Our cabins are far enough apart that you can not see or hear one from another. So you can have your own private space without worrying about other people.

This part of the TRG (Nickajack Pool) is the most beautiful and untouched of the 27-mile Tennessee River Gorge. It is also the widest part of the gorge at half a mile wide and only moving about 1 to 2 mph year round. We have the highest moutains with exposed cliffs of All the 652 miles of The Tennessee River at 1,800 ft'.
98% of all the land through the TRG is owned by TVA , Prentice Cooper State Forest, whick our property lines adjoin. And, TRG Trust has been acquiring land since 1981.
This area of TRG ''IS Not'' affected by heavy rains. We only fluctuate 1' ft. to 3' ft daily.
Nickajack Pool is designated by Army Corp Engineers as a Service Pool not Flood Control.
We also share property lines with the Prentice Cooper State Forest, so if you feel like hiking, you have 35 miles of hiking trails at your disposal.
The Tennessee River Gorge has 27,000 acres to explore.

CABINS fully furnished. All you need is FOOD AND DRINK.
All cabins come with covered decks, boat docks, 1 canoe or 2 kayaks, gas grills and crate of seasoned firewood each night. In shade all day and only feet away from the river. Cabin #1 has a one person Jet Tub in the bathroom with washer & dryer, and covered deck with 4-seating table, chairs, and 2 rocking chairs, and #2 "Amish Built" has a 2 person Jet Tub on covered porch with washer & dryer and shower.
Cabin #3 has table & chairs on covered deck, kitchen with apartment size refrigerator, shower, outside sink, washer and clothes line.

18' Lund V bottom with a 20 hp. 4-stroke engine
